The folks over at Zero BS CRM just released version 2.0. With the popularity growing around it since it was first released, they wanted to add improvements to make this free customer relationship manager for your WordPress site even more useful. And as we all know, every freelancer and small business owner needs an easy way to keep a central list of their customers and leads.
With plugins like this, especially since they are low-cost and allow you to control your data, WordPress is becoming the perfect choice for customer relationship management (CRM). With this plugin, you avoid monthly costs and overly complicated software that can slow your site down.
As I mentioned, this plugin is free and has some affordable extensions if you need to build it out. But with the free version you are able to manage customers while keeping their information up to date, attach any documents and add notes, tag and contact your customers. You can also manage quotes, invoices and transactions. And you can create teams via user roles, such as Admin, Customer Manager, Invoice/Quote Manager, and Transaction Manager.
What’s New in 2.0 : Now Connect to Hundreds of Services
There are some great extensions available, but with their new version, it focuses on the API. Now you are able to use Zapie, which allows you to link your CRM system to hundreds of apps. It also allows for programatically emails sent to you on new leads— and a lot more. The API gives you the power to easily integrate with apps like Bookly, CovertKit, MailChimp, Evernote and hundreds of others.
Extend and Grow
There are some very cool extensions available for this free plugin that you can use to grow out your CRM and tie into some specific plugins.
CSV Importer PRO
This simple importer lets you easily import your existing customer data into the Zero BS CRM system. Logged imports keeps records that will show you what is going on while running your import and also automatically creates company-level records.
Want to sync your WooCommerce customer data with your CRM? With this extension, you will be able to do that with transactions and checkout information, which will be automatically updated if anything changes. It’s not limited to PayPal only and runs from the WooCommerce API. You will also be able to set aggregated data for your top customers or other specific customer roles.
If you use Gravity Forms, you can use it with Zero BS CRM to collect leads and customer information via the forms. It will also work with any existing GF forms you have in place. And if you use Gravity Forms, you can imagine the flexibility and power that would come with this combo.
ZBS Starter Bundle
This will get you started with a powerful CRM right away. It includes three additional extensions (that can also be purchased separately): Mail Campaigns, PayPal Sync and Sales Dashboard. The Mail Campaigns lets you send targeted segments to your customers easily. PayPal sync retrieves all your customer data from PayPal and works great with the Sales Dashboard to give you gross and net revenue tracking so you can see the growth of your customer base directly in your dashboard.
