I am talking with Lindsey Miller, Partner Manager for the Managed WordPress Division at Liquid Web. We chat about her political fundraising consulting career, her experiences at iThemes, the move to Liquid Web and a few more odds and ends.
I had a blast chatting with Lindsey as we talked about the shifts in her career so far in life. She shares her earlier years and how she got involved with politics, which carried forward some even when she became part of iThemes.
During her years in politics, she served as a projects coordinator, political director and before iThemes, ran her own business that focused on fundraising for political campaigns. Later on she started Political Head Start, an online training course and website for candidates to seek help with their fundraising efforts.
Stepping back a bit, two years after Cory Miller started iThemes, Lindsey shares how they met in 2010 and then how she took on the roles at iThemes initially having no idea what WordPress even was. Her love of education is embraced their through her work and the founding of The Div, a non-profit technology hub she helped start.
She tells us how Chris Lema lured her over to Liquid Web and we chat about her experiences there, working with a managed WordPress hosting company.
We round out the conversation with some in sights into her time for relaxation with a good book and a glass of wine. And she shares a little quirk that makes Cory endearing.
If you have been wanting to partner up with Liquid Web, I encourage you to reach out by emailing Lindsey at email@example.com. I can guarantee to you that it will be worth your time.
