I love hallway chats. If you aren’t familiar with them, they are done quite a bit at those WordPress-specific conferences we call WordCamps. I’m sure there are similar conversations at other conference, but hallway chats are widely popular in the WordPress space. Likely that is where you find me at most WordCamps I am able to make it to.
It’s those special places in the hallways of the venue where sometimes rich conversations happen. That is where I not only have learned so much and strengthened existing relationships, but also met a bunch of cool new people.
So when my friends Tara and Liam started a podcast called Hallway Chats, well, it caught my attention because they were focusing on people in the WordPress community who fly below the radar, people you may not know who are doing amazing things in the WordPress space.
I decided to As a result, turn the tables on these two and put them in the guest seat on the BobWP Neighborhood.
In the podcast I asked both Tara and Liam about their own experiences with Hallway Tracks and how their podcast, Hallway Chats, came to be. We also talked about their expectations for what their podcast will bring to their listeners.
As a podcaster myself, I know the challenges that come with creating a good one. So I asked both Liam and Tara about their biggest challenge and how they overcame it.
Lastly, I love those ah-ha moments, whether it’s when I was doing training, or now, when I’m interviewing guests. I asked them to single out one ah-ha moment that made them see the impact they were hoping to share through the podcast really hit home.
